America: Biden and the leaders of France, Germany and Britain confirm their support for Ukraine

The White House announced that US President Joe Biden held talks with the leaders of France, Germany and Britain, and confirmed their intention to "continue to raise costs for Russia for its unjustified invasion of Ukraine."

"President Joe Biden had a video call today with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Leaders affirmed their intent to continue raising the costs to Russia of its unjustified invasion of Ukraine," the White House said in a statement.

The statement added: "The leaders affirmed their commitment to continue providing security, economic and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. In addition, they discussed their recent discussions with the Ukrainian (Vladimir Zelensky) and Russian (Vladimir Putin) presidents."
