Finally, the audience flocked to the stage opposite the Al-Ard Theater in the Sustainability District, and sought to document these moments, which revealed an able and professional performance of the young band coming from the Syrian capital, and its distinction in drawing features from the history and artistic heritage of the region.

"Emirates Today" attended part of the event, which was presented over six days until the end of this March throughout the "Expo Dubai" four times a day, and met the young members of the "Dabkeh" band, who considered their participation in this event a new gateway to success and a breakthrough towards the world, After the experiences of previous posts in several countries.

Imar Kharboutli, one of the band members, indicated that the drumming at the beginning of the artistic link before the start of the show represents the fixed heritage tradition that has been passed down through generations, to be an official announcement of the start of the “show” and the dance panels in which rhythms rise to draw attention and invite the audience to engage in details Its atmosphere is full of joy, stressing that some rhythms and choreography have been modified to become more contemporary and able to attract diverse audiences from different cultural backgrounds, and then limit the duration of these dances to no more than 12 minutes for each artistic performance.

On her evaluation of the audience's reactions, Kharboutli expressed her happiness at joining this troupe and participating in the "ambassadors of Syrian artistic heritage" experience.

For his part, Ibrahim Karbouj did not hesitate to talk about the peculiarity of presenting heritage works in a global forum the size of the "Expo Dubai", saying: "The audience carefully followed and was fascinated by the movement of the dancers and the tones of the accompanying music, and was impressed by this kind of folk performances and the local folklore of the Levant, which is shared by many peoples and societies around the world.

He added, "We feel happy when we see the joy in the eyes of the visitors (Expo Dubai), to the extent that we are following semi-permanent guests who attend the four daily shows that we present in the exhibition arenas, while others are interested in asking about the locations and times of our upcoming shows to listen to their presence later with family and friends."

The Lebanese Jessica Hadchiti, who succeeded in presenting a number of traditional dance paintings, was excited about her artistic experience with the Syrian troupe and her joining the performances of the international event, justifying her joining the team by the commonalities between the various types of dances and “dabkes” that characterize the Levant region.

Jessica said, "I have been practicing this hobby for about four years, and I work freely with artistic teams in Lebanon and the UAE," stressing that her participation in the "Expo Dubai" constitutes a professional addition, because it enables her to present her experience on a larger scale and learn about diverse cultures and civilizations.
