After some detective work and wall knocking, a box was finally found that had been walled in by the then governor John Lingman.

"Had a more ritual function"

We brought staff from Länsmuseet Gävleborg to the construction site to look at the content and reflect a little on this with time capsules.

- There is a long continuity here to leave traces in buildings and further back it perhaps had more of a ritual function, says Ulrika Olsson who is a building archivist.

The capsule contained various documents, including current daily newspapers and coins that were valid at the time.

But what would be contained in a possible time capsule from today?
