US official: We are ready for after the fall of Kyiv.. We will support a long street war and a Ukrainian government-in-exile!

A US official said, on Saturday, that his country and its allies are preparing to support a long battle in the Ukrainian capital if it falls.

He added that Ukraine's allies are planning to direct street war operations against Russia in Kyiv, stressing that they are providing it with weapons and equipment suitable for this type of war.

He also continued that the weapons provided by America to Ukraine would be decisive in the phase of the street war, according to what was reported by the American newspaper "Washington Post".

He also pointed out that Russia's possible control of Kyiv has mobilized the Pentagon and American agencies, noting that the West is preparing for a "Ukrainian government-in-exile", explaining that Poland may be the seat of the interim Ukrainian government if Kyiv falls.

And he announced, according to Al Arabiya.net, that the United States and its allies are preparing for the stage after the fall of the Ukrainian capital, amid recent field developments, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has so far refused to move to the western city of Lviv.

This came hours after the Ukrainian army announced, on Saturday, that Russia is working to besiege the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, and the city of Kharkiv, in the east of the country.
