In Mali, two days after the attack on the military camp of Mondoro in the center-east of the country, the native inhabitants of the locality met this Sunday in Bamako.

Nationals of the area show their support for the Malian armed forces, condemn this terrorist attack and are worried about a possible humanitarian crisis.

Due to insecurity for three years, land is fallow in the region according to the association of young people for the development of Mondoro.

The organization claims that around 100 women and children have left the village due to being struck by famine.

27 soldiers were killed and 33 soldiers were injured, 21 of them seriously.
