A while ago, Alekzandroz Haydari decided to leave Värnamo to take part in the war.

Last Saturday he traveled to Stockholm with his family and partner.

- It was really tough last night, to lie there with my partner and mother in the same room and know that this will be the last night I sleep at home for a long time, it was really tough, he says.

In the clip, he tells why he is going to the war in Ukraine.

It can be difficult to get food

On Sunday morning he flew to Krakow in Poland.

From there he will then go to Ukraine.

When he gets there, he will join the foreign volunteer legion.

He will then be a combat field mechanic, where his task will be to repair broken vehicles.

But on the other hand, there are several practical question marks he must sort out when he arrives.

He does not know if he will have a roof over his head when he sleeps or how to get food.

- I take it as it comes.

I have been told by others that some days you are close to a camp where you can pick out food for two days, other days you have to go out and hunt.

But I think I will have access to food because I am a mechanic, says Alekzandroz Haydari.

"I'm not afraid to die"

How do you react to the fact that you can actually die in the war?

- I'm not afraid to die.

I am more worried about being captured because they have told me that we foreigners will come and fight for those who are captured will be executed, which is a war crime, he says.
