The diplomat Hans-Dieter Lucas was the guest of Jean-Pierre Elkabbach this morning on Europe 1. While Russia continues to pound Ukraine and Vladimir Putin considered that the sanctions imposed on his country were a declaration of war, the German ambassador to France considered that NATO posed no threat to Moscow.

The Russian president, who decided to invade Ukraine, claimed that the sanctions imposed on his country were a "declaration of war".
For the German ambassador to France Hans-Dieter Lucas, however, NATO does not represent any threat to Russia.
