UNHCR “Fastest pace after the war to evacuate from Ukraine”

UNHCR = United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees announced on the 6th that more than 1.5 million people have been evacuated from Ukraine in the 10 days since the start of the military invasion by Russia.

UNHCR points out that "it is the fastest growing crisis in Europe since World War II."



Of these, more than half, more than 880,000, have fled to Poland.

In addition, Hungary has about 170,000, Slovakia has more than 110,000, and Moldova has more than 80,000.



UNHCR warns that millions more people will be displaced within a few days unless the war ends immediately.
