More than 1.2 million civilians have already fled Ukraine following Russia's invasion of the country, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

More and more people come to Sweden every day and the first Ukrainian families have also arrived in Dalarna.

Arranged housing in Borlänge

SVT Dalarna was on site in Nynäshamn when three Ukrainian mothers with their four children arrived from Poland.

The journey then continued towards Borlänge, where Olga Jakobsson and her husband Patrik have arranged a home for them.

- My husband is a military doctor and we do not have any contact right now, says Marina Verovchuk, who came to Sweden with her two small children and who is an engineer herself.
