Alma has taken over the new ice rink with its A-tractor.

On this wonderfully sunny winter day, she is out with her classmates Emil Hjelm and Jonatan Weinstock.

- It feels nice to feel heard, says Jonatan Weinstock.

They say that in the municipality today there are about 15 young people their age who drive A-tractors.

- We are many who have said that we want a more curvy track with slightly sharp curves.

When you do not drive so fast, it is quite difficult to skid in long curves, says Alma Isaksson.

Technology required to skid

An A-tractor must not go faster than 30 km / h and then some technology is required to be able to skid.

- You drive in a curve and then you kick with the clutch and hold the whole curve if you are good, says Emil Hjelm.

- And if you do not have a clutch but a vending machine, you turn and accelerate.

And hope for the best, Jonatan Weinstock interjects.

Want to test the limits

What is the joy of skipping?

- It's a nice feeling, says Emil Hjelm.

And his two friends agree.

- It is probably also to test the limits of your vehicle, says Alma Isaksson.

In the clip, you see when the young people put the plate in the carpet out on the rink.

Överkalix youngsters Emil Hjelm and Jonatan Weinstock also like to skid.
