“In an air battle in the Zhytomyr region, four Su-27 aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shot down and one Su-25 was shot down by air defense systems in the Nizhyn region,” Konashenkov said.
He also noted that the Ukrainian military Mi-8 helicopter and the Bayraktar TB2 drone were eliminated by the air defense forces.
Earlier it became known that the Russian army destroyed an ammunition depot in a military unit in Zhytomyr, where Javelin and NLAW were stored, with a strike of long-range precision weapons.
