ARD and ZDF are looking into the implications of the law passed on Friday and are temporarily suspending broadcasts from their studios in Moscow.

As specified, "both public broadcasters will continue to comprehensively inform the audience about what is happening in Russia and Ukraine, from other places."

Earlier it was reported that the American television channel CNN will suspend broadcasting in Russia.

In addition, the BBC Broadcasting Corporation announced that it was temporarily suspending its work in Russia and would carry out its activities outside the country.
