US Secretary of State: We will not enter a war against Russia

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the current level of coordination and cooperation between NATO members and the European Union is unprecedented, noting that America is committed to supporting the alliance in confronting Russia.

Blinken added, during a press conference yesterday, Friday, that America will defend every inch of NATO territory, explaining that Russia has been greatly affected economically since the start of the military operation in Ukraine.

He added that the measures taken by America do not target the Russian people, commenting: "We will continue to tighten the screws on Putin ... and the US administration is in constant contact with the Ukrainian government to meet its needs."

He stated, "We will not enter into a war against Russia, but we will do everything we can and our partners to provide for Ukraine to defend itself effectively."
