According to security manager Anders Wiklander, it is above all a matter for Karlskrona municipality to take an inventory of what resources are available, should the refugee flows and the need for help increase in the county.
- The areas of responsibility we have are, for example, schools and housing.
We have experience from the refugee wave in 2015 that we can use, he says.
Coordinates voluntary initiatives
Anders Wiklander says that the municipality has been contacted by a large number of private individuals who want to help, especially by offering housing.
- We are extremely grateful for that.
The voluntary resource group has been commissioned to coordinate the various initiatives that exist.
