Justice A general director of Mónica Oltra is singled out for the case of child abuse by the ex-husband of the vice president
The official of the Conselleria de Mónica Oltra who instructed the informative file on the management by the Administration of the case of sexual abuse that affected the ex-husband of the Valencian vice president knew who this was.
That is to say, the legal technician of the Ministry of Equality,
María José Navarro
, acknowledged this Wednesday before the judge that she
knew of the abuser's relationship with the vice president, although she denied having received pressure
to close a file that concluded that the protected minor victim of abuse was not credible in his testimony.
Navarro's statement came within the framework of the open investigation of six charges from the Ministry of Oltra for the response given after learning of the involvement of his former partner in a complaint of abuse in a center for minors.
The file was opened in August 2017, months after the minor victim of the abuse denounced the facts and when the matter was already prosecuted.
Legal sources present at the interrogation specified that Navarro hid himself at all times in that he was
"following orders"
, and that is why he did not consider at any time reporting the facts to the Prosecutor's Office.
The file was commissioned by the then regional director of Valencia de la Conselleria,
Isabel Serra
, who on Monday pointed to the general director of Children and Adolescents,
Rosa Molero
as the person who issued the instruction to open the file, which was signed as
« Information Reserved 01/2017»
.
However, the sentence of the Audiencia de Valencia that condemned the educator Luis Eduardo Ramírez called into question this
"paralegal instruction"
that was followed in the Conselleria with the opening of said informative file, a kind of "parallel" investigation while it was already in progress.
the court proceeds.
Not in vain, the instructor took statements from witnesses and practiced an expert opinion.
In this sense, the sentence even pointed to the "hostility" with which Navarro described the abused minor.
And, although he was aware of the abuser's identity,
her full name was withheld from the file
.
In addition, the file included a report commissioned by the Ministry to
the Espill Center
, with which it was intended to assess the credibility of the minor's testimony.
Its author, the clinical psychologist
Isabel Añon
, also concluded that she was not, despite the fact that this Wednesday she clarified in her statement that she never said that it was not credible but that the girl was "not very credible", for which she recommended a tracing.
What the sentence pointed out was that both the reserved report and that of Espill "could be motivated by an
interest in exonerating or minimizing any possible responsibility of the Generalitat
as the abuses occurred in a center dependent on the Ministry by an educator, having been made This relationship of dependency between the authors of the report and the Administration that entrusts them is patent”.
Moreover, the ruling found that
"only people outside the scope of the Ministry give credibility to the story of the minor"
, whose testimony was finally valued to condemn the educator.
The doubts raised by the ruling on the actions of the Ministry in this case have been the door that the accusations have found open, which is exercised by the abused herself through the leader of Spain 2000 José Luis Roberto, the association Gobierna-Te de Cristina Seguí and Vox.
The leader of Compromís clings to this to defend herself from what she considers a
"hunt by the extreme right"
against her person.
