The reason for the decision is, among other things, that Ivo assesses that the facility's representatives have shown significant financial negligence and shortcomings in the obligation under the Swedish Companies Act.

The decision is based on an investigation carried out by the Swedish Tax Agency for the budget years 2018 and 2019. The facility has 45 places and receives people with different types of addiction problems.

Patients leave

The patients have been allowed to leave or are about to leave their home in Denicketorp and the staff of about twelve people will be laid off.

- It is so sad, because we have a high quality of care and have a queue for the business, says Kerstin Karlsten who is employed as a nurse at Bergslagen's treatment home and rehabilitation center.

She also says that the manager is sorry for what happened and hopes that the business can start again.

Ivo's decision will be appealed to the Administrative Court.
