Visitors to the Spain pavilion stand for a long time in front of the high-speed “Zeleros” capsule, which represents a major leap in the future of this sector, as it can reduce a large number of hours lost in travel, and according to the pavilion, it shortens the journey time from Dubai to Mecca to only two hours and 36 minutes, Compared to nine hours and nine minutes, the estimated travel time for the same trip if a high-speed train was used.

And those in charge of the wing revealed that the capsule - which is produced by the company Zyleros - is a leap forward in all respects, as it relies on environmentally friendly electricity energy, so it does not emit any harmful carbon dioxide, compared to 1168 tons of this gas emitted from the plane if It is used to make the trip from Dubai to Mecca, and 1,303 tons if a car running on regular fuel is used, which reflects the importance of thinking seriously about promoting clean transportation, to reduce global warming, and to enhance environmental protection.

What is remarkable - according to the company - is the low cost of extending the lines of the high-speed transportation capsule “Hyperloop Zeleros”, compared to other types of trains, as the cost of extending one kilometer ranged from 20 to 40 million euros, compared to a cost of between 40 and 80 million euros for a magnetic levitation train. and 100 million euros for a superconducting lift train.

green hydrogen

During his internal tour of the Spain Pavilion, the visitor cannot miss getting to know the future of clean energy through green hydrogen, which is generated by solar energy, a pioneering system that the Spanish Iberdrola Foundation has begun implementing a huge project, the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, in cooperation With Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, and Siemens International.

The pavilion's organizers pointed out that this is an important step towards a more sustainable future, as it is the first "green hydrogen" production facility operating with clean energy in the region, at the Mohammed bin Rashid Solar Energy Complex, noting that there are various uses of green hydrogen, also represented in the production of fertilizers. needed for cultivation.

Distinctive smell

Inside the Spanish pavilion, an exotic but distinct smell is evident, often from the rainforest and the algae lab that expresses the European country's commitment to protecting the environment and promoting sustainability in innovative ways, including an ultra-fast capsule.

The pavilion is also distinguished by a smart forest, which includes trees made of a special material that absorbs carbon dioxide, and its floor embodies the importance of microalgae in the form of visual effects, because of the role of these algae in changing the climate, as they produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, and are a source of energy and nutrients Valuable, this forest also represents a space containing Spanish innovations and expresses the country's commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its participation in the protection and sustainable use of natural resources.

Spain is one of the countries with the most biodiversity in Europe, being listed among the 25 most important biodiversity regions in the world.

The pavilion is not devoid of an interactive activity that attracts visitors, and it is a smart tree called “Balance”, which emits smart sound and light effects, and provides a unique competition, based on several axes, including choosing the language according to the visitor’s nationality and name, then moving to Questions about the environmental behaviors practiced by the visitor in his daily life, and if his answer is correct, his name will appear on the tree immediately.

Pavilion maintainers:

• "The capsule is a leap into the future, as it relies on environmentally friendly electricity, and does not emit any harmful carbon dioxide."

symbolic message

Before entering the extraordinary forest and learning about the most important innovations and pioneering projects, the Spanish Pavilion takes visitors on a journey of imagination through artwork by artist Daniel Canojar and acoustic artist Francisco Lopez, who provide a symbolic message, supported by interactive collective voices, to imagine new forms of creativity, using technology and science and art.
