Ukraine opens its doors to any foreigner who wants to fight Russia without entry visas

Today, Tuesday, Vladimir Zelensky decided, according to a decree, to exempt foreign "mercenaries" who arrive in the country to participate in the fighting on the side of Kyiv against Russia, from entry visas.

"From March 1, for the duration of the war or until another decision is taken in this regard, a visa-free entry regime for aliens wishing to join the UN Regional Defense Corps," Zelensky said in the decree issued by Zelensky.

"Foreigners who want to defend Ukraine within the framework of the UN Regional Defense Corps, can review the embassies of Ukraine in their countries of residence," Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said.

Russian forces are continuing their special operation to protect the Donbass region amid an unprecedented escalation of Western sanctions against Moscow.
