UNHCR = United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees revealed on the 1st that about 660,000 people have been evacuated from Ukraine after a military invasion by Russia.

In Europe, an unprecedented number of refugees have fled Syria in the Middle East, where the civil war continues in 2015, but UNHCR says it could be the biggest refugee crisis of the century.

On the Ukrainian side, which is close to the border with Poland, there was a long line of people trying to cross the border, and some people waited for 60 hours in the severe cold, and many of them fled from all over Ukraine. It means that they are women and children.

It also takes 20 hours to enter Romania from Ukraine and 24 hours to enter Moldova.

UNHCR is calling on neighboring countries in Ukraine to continue to accept internally displaced persons without closing their borders, with locals increasingly accepting displaced persons at home free of charge.
