Two individuals wreaked havoc on Saturday evening in the Blosne district of Rennes.

The canine brigade intervened around 11:15 p.m. after being alerted that a gang of young people were smashing the windows of a parked vehicle with stones.

Two of them boarded and fled, refusing to obey police control.

A high-speed chase then took place in the streets of the district towards the Henri-Fréville sector.

At the Alma roundabout, a police vehicle arriving as reinforcements was hit by the car driven by the fugitives.

No officers were injured in the crash.

Another vehicle rammed in a parking lot

The two individuals then continued on their way to an aerial parking lot where they collided with another parked vehicle before running away.

The canine brigade dog managed to put one of the two youngsters on the ground, allowing him to be arrested.

Aged 17 and a half, he was in possession of a few grams of cannabis resin.

The alcohol test was negative.

Already known to the services, he was placed in prolonged custody before being released.

He will soon be summoned to court.

His colleague managed to escape.
