He and a Swedish friend decided to take the car and flee the country.
The journey took about three days but now they are in safety in Romania where they went via Moldova.
They will soon begin the journey to Sweden.
They plan to drive via Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.
- For us it is not a problem, we are in the EU now.
But many of my friends, including the ones I played floorball with on Wednesday, are fighting now.
Tamuz Hidir believes that he is of greater help from Sweden and he keeps in touch with relatives and friends who remain in Ukraine.
