A teenager took all the risks to save two cats and a dog in Saint-Pierre-lès-Nemours (Seine-et-Marne) this Friday evening, says La République de Seine-et-Marne.

The 17-year-old noticed smoke billowing from his neighbours' house.

Intrigued, he went out and saw the occupant of the premises in his garden.

She explained to him that she had fled her home because a fire had just broken out in the attic.

But in the panic, she did not have time to collect her pets who were still at her home.

No injuries but damage

Without thinking, the teenager entered the burning house in search of the dog and the two cats.

He managed to get them out safe and sound.

"This is what is called an everyday hero", commented the police station to our colleagues.

If the woman and the animals were not injured, the pavilion was partially damaged by the fire.
