Last Monday, when the President of the Transitional Military Council announced that the pre-dialogue of the politico-military forces would indeed take place from Sunday,

many did not believe it.

Today, it is logistical and coordination problems between the Chadian authorities and Qatar, which is hosting this meeting as a prelude to the inclusive national dialogue announced for May 10, which are put forward to justify this postponement.

In terms of preparations,

Ndjamena and Doha have struggled to tune their violins.

On the number of participants alone, the two sides disagreed.

According to government spokesman Abderahman Koulamallah, the Qataris wanted a reasonable number of participants but Ndjamena insisted that all movements be on board.

“

No Chadian should be left out

 ,” recalled the Chadian executive.

But organizing such a gathering is a logistical challenge.

The administrative situation of the rebels has particularly posed a problem for the organizers because some cannot leave the countries where they reside because of their placement under judicial supervision.

Others still do not have a passport to travel.

Ndjamena and Doha are therefore working to overcome these difficulties, but they need more time.

The affair of the audios in which Timane Erdimi

, one of the Chadian rebel leaders hosted by Qatar, plans alliances to overthrow the transitional government, has not helped matters.

According to the Chadian government, the national pre-dialogue could take place within a few days, but reliable sources, Qatar estimates that nothing will be able to move before March 12.
