To overcome the difficult and fateful moments she is experiencing, the Ukrainian citizen Oleksandra Zubal decided to document her times spent at war with her child from inside a shelter, through her Twitter account.

Zobal's diary gained wide sympathy among activists who expressed their solidarity with her, wishing her to stay healthy with her loved ones.

My friend Iryna from Lviv: We are safe.

But the children shudder at home at any sound.

They are afraid to be alone in the room.

They wake up in the middle of the night crying.

But I say that we are protected by mountains.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine – you are our mountains!

Zobal posted a photo of her lying next to her baby girl, with the caption: "My daughter and I are fighting tonight in Ukraine, we are at war with a crazy dictator and we need the world's support now."

Zobal raised the victory sign in one of the photos she documented, after her daughter was able to sleep after she woke up to the alarm bells.

Kids are sleeping after we woke them up early today because of the siren (air alarm).

PS All safe here.
