It was at 03 o'clock that a police car traveling along Gymnastikgatan in Eskilstuna was hit by an object, whereupon a rear side window exploded.
According to the police patrol's incident report, the object must have been thrown from an oncoming vehicle.
- They turned and drove after but the oncoming car could not be located, says police spokesman Dennis Johansson Strömberg.
No one was injured in the incident.
There are no suspects but a report of blue light sabotage has been made.
