Promising musicians showcased their talents during the show presented by Bait Al Hamour in cooperation with Expo 2020 Dubai, the day before yesterday, which included school students in the UAE, aged between 13 and 16 years.

The music of the show was inspired by the story of Bait Al-Hamour, to express the sounds emanating from the Arabian Gulf Sea, the songs of fishermen and the grouper’s journey across the oceans from coral reefs to the dark blue color, and back again in an adventure narrated by music, which was adopted by Beit Al-Hamour as its official music, which was composed by school students.

The show also included the playing of international pieces related to the sea, water and sustainability.

Hayat Shams El Din, Senior Vice President for Culture and Arts at Expo 2020 Dubai, said: "Bait Al Hamour is a community art project that relies on communicating the idea of sustainability in an artistic way, by creating models that mimic coral reefs and marine creatures, including grouper fish, through artistic threads and materials. This program was a great success in (Expo 2020 Dubai).

She added, "During this show, we present the concept of sustainability in another artistic form, which is music, as Central for Musical Arts (CMA) students collaborated to play a musical work inspired by the sounds of marine creatures and sea waves, and they also presented excerpts from international music that are all related to the sea and sustainability."

Siddhint Mehrotra, a 16-year-old saxophonist, described the experience as wonderful, adding, "I am proud to be part of a campaign to improve sustainability in the world through playing."

The music of Bait Al Hamour will be shown again on March 19 and 26, at the Bait Al Hamour platform, in the Forsaken Pavilion.
