The National Police arrested five people on Saturday morning, two of them brothers of the famous
alunicero Goyito
, after a police chase of more than half an hour between San Sebastián de los Reyes and the Madrid district of San Blas.
Those arrested were in a stolen vehicle that ended up crashing into the median of the M-45
, according to the Madrid Police Headquarters.
While fleeing, they collided with another vehicle and also damaged another National Police patrol car.
At the wheel of the car was
Cristian Rodríguez, alias
el Ruso,
34,
a well-known criminal specializing in vehicle theft and who has been involved in several police chases in the past year.
The events began around 06:00 on Saturday when a National Police car was driving along Avenida de Matapiñoneras in San Sebastián de los Reyes.
When passing in front of a Seat Córdoba vehicle, the occupants bowed their heads.
The patrol car turned around at a nearby roundabout and approached the suspicious car, which at that moment
started at full speed in the direction of the A-1.
The agents began to follow the car that began to make zigzagging maneuvers on the road, hitting another car and endangering other cars.
The fugitives circulated recklessly on the A-1, the M-30, the M-40 and the M-45.
On this last road they were cornered by the National Police and ended up ramming the car against the median.
After the accident,
the five occupants of the car fled on the run,
but were immediately arrested by agents from the San Blas police station of the National Police.
In the passenger seat was Óscar Rodríguez García, older brother of
El Goyito
, a well-known criminal and moonlighter
detained on more than 40 occasions by the Police
who is now in jail serving a sentence of two years and eight months in prison for several violent robberies.
Cristián Rodríguez, Goyito's brother, was already arrested three times last year by agents from the Alcobendas-San Sebastián de los Reyes police station accused of stealing vehicles in the northern part of the region.
The other three arrested who were in the stolen car are a 26-year-old woman and two men, 27 and 28 years old.
One of the occupants of the vehicle was wearing gloves.
so it is believed that they could be prepared to commit a robbery in the area.

has 22 police records for similar events.
