China News Service, Xi'an, February 27 (Yang Yingqi) At 7:44 on the 27th, the Long March 4C carrier rocket was ignited and lifted off, successfully launching the Land Exploration No. 1 01 Group B satellite.

At 11:6, the Long March-8 Yao-2 carrier rocket ignited and took off, successfully launching 22 satellites, setting a new record for China's "multiple satellites with one arrow" launch record and the record for the shortest launch interval for a Long March rocket.

During this period, the Sixth Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation provided the first-, second-, and third-stage engines and attitude control engine systems for the Long March 4C carrier rocket, and provided the space propulsion subsystem for the Land Exploration-1 01 Group B star.

At the same time, it also provides primary and secondary engines and auxiliary power systems for the Long March 8 Yao-2 launch vehicle.

It is understood that the Land Exploration-1 01 group A star was successfully launched by the Long March 4C carrier rocket on January 26.

The B star launched this time will form a close-range flying formation or network operation state with the A star.

Double satellite mainly focuses on surface deformation measurement tasks. It has the characteristics of all-weather, all-day, multi-mode and multi-polarization. It can be used in the fields of geology, land, earthquake, disaster reduction, mapping and forestry, and can effectively improve China's geological disaster autonomous satellite. Detection ability and prevention and control work level, and effectively maintain national resources and ecological security.

The Long March 4C carrier rocket is a normal temperature liquid three-stage carrier rocket. It has the ability to launch satellites of various types and different orbit requirements. It can carry out the launch of "multiple satellites with one arrow", and the carrying capacity of the sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 700 kilometers can reach 3 tons.

According to reports, the Long March 8 carrier rocket is currently the commercial rocket with the strongest medium and low orbit capacity in China.

In this launch mission, the rocket removed two boosters, changed from two and a half stages to two-stage series configuration, shortened the fairing, and adopted the development concept of modularization, serialization and combination, and quickly completed the first Second commercial launch.

The 22 satellites launched this time, together with the satellite bracket, weigh about 2.6 tons, mainly optical remote sensing satellites.

To this end, the Long March 8 carrier rocket has designed a three-segment multi-satellite support. After reaching the predetermined orbit, the satellite is released 12 times to ensure that the satellite can be put down, separated and controlled.

It is reported that the two missions were the 408th and 409th launches of the Long March series of launch vehicles, respectively.
