] Ukrainian President Zelensky said in a telegram that they had agreed to meet with the Russian side without conditions on the Belarusian border.



Russian presidential aide Medinsky also said, "We have received confirmation from the Ukrainian side of the meeting in Gomel, Belarus."

meeting will be held on the morning of the 28th local time, a Belarusian official familiar with the mediation situation said.



The official said the Ukrainian delegation was going through Poland to Belarus because of personal risk, so it would take some time.



The Russian side said the negotiating team included officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense and the Kremlin.



President Zelensky said he was skeptical of the outcome of the meeting, saying he didn't believe the outcome of the meeting, but he told the delegation to give it a try.
