China News Service, February 26. According to a CNN report, on the 26th, the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine entered the third day.

On the same day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a video speech, saying that Ukraine had resisted and repulsed the Russian offensive. He also mobilized his own citizens to continue to resist and actively sought the support of the international community.

In the video speech, Zelensky said, "The Ukrainian army has successfully resisted the military action from the Russian side, and the struggle and resistance activities are still carried out in major cities and regions in Ukraine."

Zelensky further stated that the Ukrainian capital Kiev and surrounding cities are still under the control of their own military forces.

He pointed out that Russia's military plan has been contained, and called its military plan "no chance of success."

Talking about Russia's use of missiles to hit residential areas in Ukraine, Zelensky added, "The attack on residential areas will directly prompt all countries in the world to stand in the same trenches with Ukraine."

However, the Russian Defense Ministry said that information circulating on social networks about a Russian missile attack on a residential building in Kiev did not match reality.

In the video, Zelensky again called on his own nationals to continue to resist Russian military action.

To this end, he pointed out in the video, "Except Russia, almost all EU member states are supporting Ukraine."

Zelensky also said that he had a phone call with European Council President Michel, saying that it was a "critical moment" to completely end the long-term dispute and decide whether Ukraine should join the European Union.

He also said that international financial institutions are actively discussing the possibility of economic sanctions against Russia.

"I hope Germany and Hungary will stand up bravely and support the decision," Zelensky said.

In addition to calling on its nationals to return to the country to participate in the resistance, Zelinsky said that if there are foreign volunteer forces willing to help, Ukraine will fully provide them with weapons support.
