The Ukrainian president appears with a long beard and a military jacket.. Watch the video

The morning after the barrage of Russian missiles that rained down on the Ukrainian capital Kiev, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the people in his preferred style through a video clip that he filmed in a "selfie" manner.

Zelensky worked hard to put a smile on his face, while he appeared unshaven and wearing a military jacket, and assured his compatriots that he was still among them in the capital and denied the authenticity of reports that he had tried to escape.

In a live broadcast on the social networking site Instagram, which garnered three million views in the first hour, Zelensky said: "Good morning all Ukrainians! Recently, a lot of false information has been reported on the Internet that I have called on our army to lay down their weapons and leave. Hear me. I'm here. ".

During the broadcast, Zelensky appeared standing in the morning sun on the other side of the road in front of his office in Kiev, with the famous "House with Chemeras" teacher behind him.

On Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called again on European countries to exclude Russia from the "SWIFT" banking system, and the SWIFT system allows banks to conduct correspondence quickly and securely on money transfers.

And Russia's exclusion from it will disrupt its trade with most parts of the world.

"There is almost complete support from EU countries for excluding Russia from Swift," Zelensky said in a video posted online, expressing hope that "Germany and Hungary will have the courage to support this decision."

But the Hungarian government vehemently denied Saturday that it opposed Russia's exclusion from Swift, with its foreign minister, Peter Szijjarto, even speaking of "fake news" on his Facebook account.

"We have never opposed a proposed punishment, nor have we obstructed any action," he said.

The Ukrainian president indicated that fighting continues against Russian forces today, Saturday, in many cities and regions.

Zelensky explained that Russia wants to control the heart of the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, and install its agents there.

Despite this, he said, the city and many other strategic cities remain under the control of the Ukrainian army.

Zelensky also accused Russia of targeting residential areas, which Moscow denied and said it only attacks military targets.
