Since the boiler is down, what if we had a little barbecue inside to warm up?

This is the (very bad) idea that a family from the Territoire de Belfort had on Friday.

But the evening ended very badly, reports L'Est Républicain.

These four adults, two in their sixties and two in their thirties, as well as two children aged 9 and 11 were seriously poisoned by carbon monoxide.

They had to be evacuated by firefighters from the Nord Franche-Comté hospital.

“It was a major poisoning,” revealed a fire soldier to the regional daily.
