The house is located on Lobanovsky Avenue, near one of the capital's airports.
Pictures show how the building is on fire and has major damage.
A large part of the right corner of the property is gone and several homes have been destroyed.
Emergency services are on site, but according to CNN, the damage is still unknown.

The country's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is one of those who has shared photos of the damaged building on social media.
"Kiev, our fantastic, peaceful city, survived another night under attacks by Russian ground forces, missiles," he wrote on Twitter.
"I demand that the world: isolate Russia completely, expel ambassadors, issue oil embargoes, destroy its economy.
