As Russia's military invasion continues, UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) announced on the 26th that the number of people evacuated from Ukraine to neighboring countries such as Poland has exceeded 150,000.

More than half have fled to Poland, and many have fled to Hungary, Moldova, Romania and elsewhere.

In Ukraine, men aged 18 to 60 are restricted from leaving the country to strengthen their defense posture, so women, children and the elderly are prominent among those who have evacuated to neighboring countries.

At the Polish border, we saw elderly couples waiting for their grandchildren to evacuate and women anxiously waiting for their relatives to arrive by the fence.

Two children entrusted to a stranger by a father who could not leave the country on the Hungarian border reunited with her mother who had already left the country and exchanged hugs.
