The fair will be held at Lagerhuset in Gothenburg where people can meet, talk to authors and learn about new books.
The purpose of the fair is to develop and improve the reading culture and point out the importance of the mother tongue.
- The idea for the book fair was to build bridges between the authors who live and work in Scandinavia and those who are still in Bosnia, says Sabaheta Vehanovic, business developer at the Sobriety Movement's Education, NBV.
40 authors and translators participate
Most of the authors are active in Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina, but some also come from Denmark, Norway, England and Belgium.
During the second day of the festival, the emphasis is on children's books.
- We estimate that more than a hundred families with children will come.
They will meet the well-known children's book author Šimo Ešić, but also regular authors such as Midhat Ajanović and Mile Stojić, says Sabaheta Vehanovic.
