At first glance, it could be one of the many YouTube channels that laugh about German Corona policy.

But behind the channel "InfraRot Medien -sicht ins Dunkel" with currently around 14,000 subscribers is the company InfraRot Medien UG, which was founded on August 20, 2021 and is listed in the commercial register in Berlin.

The managing director Ivan Rodionov, who also appears in front of the camera himself, worked for the Russian broadcaster RT DE from 2014 to October 2021 - first as editor-in-chief, later, according to his own statements, as "chief strategy officer".

Jens Zimmer and Arthur Buchholz also worked for RT DE until autumn 2021.

Now they present comments on German politics and the public media as well as a joint podcast at InfraRot.

According to the channel description, the target group is “everyone for whom the mainstream opinion tunnel is too narrow”.

Rodionov's contributions in particular have a serious look, while Zimmer and Buchholz in the podcast ridicule politicians with generalized individual statements without much effort or structure.

Occasional interviews with guests such as the author Marc Friedrich, who is critical of vaccinations, are produced in a somewhat higher quality.

The interviewer Marcus Robbin also worked for RT DE until last year.

Supporters of the Corona policy are repeatedly accused of blind faith,

With regard to the Ukraine crisis, the channel suggests that German politicians deliberately pushed for a war.

Putin's ruthless pursuit of power doesn't matter.

In the user comments there are wild insults against politicians, a viewer remembers an encounter with the moderator Jens Zimmer at a lateral thinker rally in Dresden.

On Telegram, a user threatens to use his shotgun.

InfraRot can now expect a content check on YouTube.

While the channel does not violate the platform's policies, a spokesman said.

But as early as December, a video was deleted due to incorrect corona information.

Some posts can only be seen on Telegram, where subscribers are also informed about Corona demos and the new alternative network theplattform.net.

InfraRot is also represented on the Odysee video platform, but only with hits in the two to three-digit range.
