Wang Yi Holds Telephone Talks with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Borrell

　　On February 25, 2022, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi had a telephone conversation with the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Borrell.

　　Wang Yi said that China has always promoted China-EU relations with a positive attitude.

China-EU cooperation is the mainstream, and competition and confrontation are not desirable.

The two sides should strengthen communication, increase trust and dispel doubts, and jointly prepare for this year's China-EU leaders' meeting, so as to promote the steady and long-term development of China-EU relations.

Lithuania blatantly created "one China, one Taiwan", which led to tension between China and Lithuania.

The Taiwan-related issue in Lithuania is not an issue between China and Europe, but a bilateral issue between neutrality and neutrality; it is not an economic and trade issue, but a political issue.
