The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has alerted citizens traveling abroad to the need to use smart payment methods, and to avoid cash payments as much as possible, in order to avoid any theft that may occur when carrying sums of money.

It also urged them to adhere to a set of preventive measures, to reduce infection with the Corona virus, the most important of which is to ensure that precautionary measures are applied when present in public places, avoiding crowded places, and making sure to sterilize hands continuously, especially after touching surfaces in public areas, and staying away from any A person showing symptoms of a respiratory infection.

And she stressed, within the guidelines for traveling abroad, the need to ascertain the requirements of the airline before returning to the country, and these requirements may include conducting a prior examination (nose swab - PCR) before returning no more than 72 hours, and that the result is negative.

And she called for adherence to the current local and federal regulations in the UAE, regarding the “Covid-19” guidelines, and it may require different additional measures depending on the situation of the country, such as countries with medium and high risk categories.

And she stressed the need to comply with the preventive measures and directives related to the "Covid-19" virus at the airport, such as wearing a mask, physical distancing, checking the temperature, and following up on compliance with the government's directives in the destination country, regarding the pandemic.

In the event that a citizen is injured, he must go to the nearest emergency center and contact the UAE mission in the country of headquarters.

He must also know the health regulations and instructions for the “Covid-19” virus, issued in the destination country.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has identified four categories that are excluded from the decision to prevent the travel of unvaccinated citizens, which began on January 10, and requires that the exemption status be shown in the “Al-Hosn” application.

The excluded cases included citizens of the country under the age of 18, and groups medically excluded from taking the vaccine, with the need to review the health authority from which the medical exemption was issued, to include it in the “Al-Hosn” application, and those recovering from the “Covid-19” virus, who did not exceed Their recovery period is three months, regardless of the number of doses, and exceptional humanitarian cases, including cases of illness or death of first-degree relatives of citizens, as they can contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s call center (number 80044444) to issue a travel permit.

The ministry pointed out that it is required for citizens traveling to present the status of their travel permit on the Al-Hosn application, and to ensure that they have obtained two doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine, in addition to the supporting dose, in accordance with the national protocol for supporting doses approved in the country.

The Ministry had announced, in coordination with the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management, a travel ban for all citizens of the country who were not vaccinated with the “Covid-19” vaccine, as of the last 10, and a requirement to obtain the supporting dose for the two vaccinated to allow them to travel.
