The Liberal Democratic Party's Party Reform Execution Headquarters has put together a draft amendment to the party rules that includes restrictions on the term of office of party leaders such as the vice president and secretary general. I decided to consult with the party convention next month.

At the meeting of the Liberal Democratic Party's Party Reform Implementation Headquarters held on the 25th, a draft article was presented for the revision of the party rules.

Of these, the term of office of party executives is limited to "1st term, 1st year and 3rd term" set by Prime Minister Kishida in last year's presidential election. Eight positions are targeted, including the chairman and the chairman of the Diet measures committee.

In addition, the formulation of a "governance code" that guides organizational governance and the establishment of a new organization to strengthen cooperation with local councilors were also included, and both were approved.

The executive headquarters will consult with the party convention scheduled for next month.
