SVT News reporter Erika Bjerström meets three generations of Ukrainian women who fled Lviv together.

Grandma Lydia, daughter Alina and granddaughter Irina only got the dog and cat.

That's all.

They have no idea where to go.

Irina holds tight in her bag with the cat Rockefeller.

- What we meet are people who are relieved, almost unfaithful that they are safe.

Many are exhausted, a man had driven himself, his wife and two children for 24 hours to reach the Polish border.

But when I ask how people feel, how it feels, I am met with empty eyes, says Bjerström.

Masha, who is on her way across the border, has only four days left until delivery:

- I have no idea how I feel.

We woke up to the rocket fire at 5 in the morning.

We fled headlong.

We will try to make friends in Prague, she says.

- It is obvious that many have suffered from psychological trauma, says Erika Bjerström.
