Movies when people try to cross the border from Ukraine, devastation after bombings and the great devastation that comes with it.

Firefighters trying to help elderly people out of demolished houses.

These are images that meet the county's young people in their social media feeds.

Nora Pouliot, 14, who is in eighth grade at Kråkbergsskolan in Sunderbyn, in Luleå municipality, is one of those who have seen several clips on social media.

- I have not talked much with my friends but I have talked to my mother.

She reads quite a lot of news so she knew quite a lot about what happened, she says.

Several students have experienced violence from Ukraine, on social media

Among the eighth- and ninth-graders that SVT talks to, several have taken pictures and videos from the conflict's Ukraine.

- In most videos, it feels like you have been so close and there is a lot of noise and it did not feel really right, says Nora Pouliot.

- It feels very unreal that when you see pictures of when fighter jets are flying outside someone's room, says Felicia Nilsson, 14 years old.

The students have discussed what is happening in Ukraine

Ninth-graders Lukas Öman Suarez, Axel Mella and Sven Palo spend part of their SO lesson discussing what happens in the conflict.

- It is bad to start Russia has started civilian attacks, it is a war crime, says Axel Mella.

- It would have been more okay if they bombed military targets instead, says Lukas Öman Suarez.

Do you think about where the pictures and films come from?

- It is understood that they come from the fighting hands where people flee from their homes and are evacuated, he says.

- It is clear that you think about the pictures you see and if they are genuine.

Then I think the purpose is to convey what it looks like there right now, says Nora Pouliot.
