On Thursday, the County Administrative Board of Värmland decided to call the crisis management council to a meeting on Friday.

This means that all the county's municipal chiefs, regional command, police and military gather to analyze and handle the security situation that has arisen.

- We will share information with each other and draw a map of how the continued collaboration will take place.

Russia will want to continue to influence our security policy and this can also have an impact locally in Värmland, says the County Administrative Board's emergency director Leif Gustavsson.

No military threat

Leif Gustavsson does not consider that there is any military threat against Sweden or Värmland.

However, he warns that Russia may try to influence in another way.

- It can be about disinformation, cyber attacks on our payment systems and that the supply of both food and energy may be affected, says Leif Gustavsson.
