Ukraine calls on "everyone able to bear arms" to war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has ordered his forces to "inflict maximum losses" on the Russian forces invading his country, the commander of the Ukrainian armed forces, General Valery Zaluzhny, announced on Facebook.

"The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces has ordered that the attacker be inflicted with a maximum of losses," General Zalogni wrote, stressing that the army "with dignity" repels enemy attacks.

For his part, the Defense Minister of Ukraine called on "everyone who can bear arms to join the ranks of the defense forces."
