Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba calls on the outside world to act immediately after Russia enters Ukraine militarily early on Thursday morning.

On Twitter, Kuleba writes that devastating sanctions and full-scale isolation of Russia are needed.

In addition, Ukraine needs weapons and equipment as well as economic and humanitarian.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announces that martial law is now in force in the country.

During the morning, several powerful explosions were confirmed in the Donbass region as well as in the Ukrainian capital Kiev and the next largest city Kharkiv.

According to Ukrainian border authorities, Ukraine has been attacked from Russia and from Belaus.
