The diplomatic department stressed that they consider these actions as a response to the expulsion of the American deputy head of mission in Moscow.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the deputy head of the US diplomatic mission in Moscow, Bartle Gorman, was expelled from the country in response to the unjustified expulsion of the ministerial adviser of the Russian embassy in Washington, despite his status as a senior official.
