“As a result of direct hits of shells on the settlements of the Belgorod and Rovno districts of the Belgorod region, two Russian citizens and one child born in 2015 were injured, one residential building was destroyed, eight houses and one car were damaged,” the IC said in a statement.

A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of attempted murder of two or more persons, committed in a generally dangerous way.

“All the circumstances of the crime committed and the persons involved in it are being established,” the department stressed.

Earlier, the head of the administration of Gorlovka, Ivan Prikhodko, announced the death of a civilian as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
