A collision between a TER and a heavy goods vehicle took place this Thursday mid-morning in Hochfelden in the Bas-Rhin, at rue du Général Gouraud.

The accident happened on a level crossing.

The train has derailed and is immobilized on the track.

The prefecture indicates in a press release that six people were injured, one of them seriously.

The Dragon 67 helicopter intervened to evacuate the latter.

The Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Bas-Rhin (SDIS 67) indicates that significant resources are mobilized and go to the scene of the accident, in particular via the RD421.

It is recommended to avoid the area.
