Russian military transport plane crashes, crew killed

The press service of the Western Military District of Russia reported that an An-26 military transport aircraft crashed in the Varonezh region during a planned flight to transport military equipment, and all crew members died.

The report says: "On February 24, in the Voronezh region, during a planned flight to transport military equipment, an An-26 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces crashed. The crew died."

He adds that, according to preliminary information, equipment failure was the cause of the accident.
