• Eric Zemmour answered questions from Internet users during the "Live Presidential" TF1 - "20 Minutes".

  • The reconquest candidate!

reaffirmed that the fight against immigration, legal and illegal, was his priority.

  • He also spoke about the crisis in Ukraine, hunting, "excusable defence" or even the cessation of wind projects.

He considers that the repatriation of Napoleon III's ashes to France would be a very good idea and discovered "quite recently" that there was indeed "a genocide in the Vendée" during the French Revolution.

But if Eric Zemmour loves history, his priority as a presidential candidate remains immigration.

The leader of Reconquest!

was Tuesday, February 22 the guest of the "Live Presidential" TF1 - "20 Minutes".

He answered live questions from Internet users.

Here's what to remember.

How many referrals do you have?

As I speak to you, we are at 390 and there are only ten days left.

It's very difficult, we fight hour by hour.

There is outrageous pressure on mayors.

It would be a democratic earthquake if Marine Le Pen, Jean-Luc Mélenchon and myself, who represent 40% of the electorate, were not in the first round.

If you want to know what the painting behind Eric Zemmour represents, it's in the video that it happens.

What do you think of the crisis in Ukraine and what would you have done differently from Emmanuel Macron?

Macron's initiative to try to pacify the situation in Ukraine was good.

But Vladimir Putin obviously didn't trust him, and that's a problem.

He took him for the little telegrapher from Washington.

Once again, Emmanuel Macron finds himself ridiculous in a situation too big for him.

Basically, he has a real ideological problem.

We can clearly see that Europe cannot play a role because the States are too divided.

Do you support Vladimir Putin?

I neither support nor condemn it.

I'm just saying he's a statesman, a patriot who defends his country.

He has been legitimately demanding since 2014 that NATO stop expanding to the borders of his country.

Is your objective to limit the number of foreigners in France?

I want to stop regular and irregular immigration.

There are approximately 275,000 legal entries per year, which is enormous, not to mention 140,000 asylum applications per year on average.

70% to 80% of people are dismissed, but never fired.

Today, we must stop all this by taking away the right of immigrants to bring other immigrants.

We have to stop believing that people come to work.

This represents only 12% of the 275,000 annual requests.

Will people who do not have a French first name have to change their first name?

The answer is no.

I don't baptize people.

I speak for the future.

Giving a French first name to your children is a step towards France.

How is this going to happen for the Overseas Territories?

In Mayotte, for example, where the majority of the population is Muslim?

Or in Tahiti?

A Tahitian would no longer have the right to call his child Fenua or

Teanuanua

 ?

Overseas territories are a limited problem.

The fundamental question is on the one hand the Muslim first names and on the other the American first names, even if the fashion for the latter has passed.

You can always give a second or third name of your choice to pay homage to your grandparents, your ancestors.

Are you going to ban hunting on Sundays?

The hunters should not be blamed.

It is a millennial and authentically democratic activity, since the right to hunt for all citizens was obtained during the French Revolution.

Hunters are environmentalists who take care of nature and animals.

We must not oppose hunting and animal welfare.

We know that animals have a sensitivity, they must not suffer.

I propose in my program a real national policy to welcome and protect abandoned animals.

Do you have a plan to conserve and protect our cultural heritage, such as churches and castles?

We are lucky in France to have an exceptional architectural heritage, but often a pitiful state.

I will reduce certain budgets for culture, for example the 3.6 billion euros that the public service costs.

With this money, I will be able to deploy a great plan for the restoration of our heritage.

What would be your first decision as president?

My political priority is the fight against immigration.

I will present by referendum to the French a series of measures to stop immigration, such as the end of family reunification, the abolition of jus soli, the expulsion of foreign offenders, the end of non-contributory social benefits for foreigners, the reduction of the right of asylum to a few dozen people.

Are you the French Donald Trump?

Our common priority is the desire to preserve our country as we knew it and as our parents knew it.

Afterwards, we have different paths, methods and styles.

Will you accept a rallying of Marine Le Pen if you are qualified in the second round and why vote for you rather than for her?

To implement the fight against immigration and the great replacement, we must bring together all the rights.

So obviously, I will accept that Marine Le Pen joins me in the second round if she wishes.

Why vote for me?

Because I'm the only one who can collect the straight lines.

And because I no longer know what Marine Le Pen thinks.

She changed her mind on every subject.

Me, I am constant, I will not change my opinion or policy.

Do you want the return of the death penalty for terrorists?

It is not in my priorities, there will be no reinstatement of the death penalty.

On the other hand, I will restore real life sentences.

Who do you think will make a good interior minister?

I have a lot of ideas, but it will depend on who will join me in the second round.

Eric Ciotti would make a very good Minister of the Interior, but he is not the only one.

Are you going to expand gun licenses?

I will not change the gun laws.

I will propose the excusable defence, that is to say that justice will assess whether the victim was in a state of self-defense, as happens in Switzerland.

For police officers, I add the presumption of self-defence, which will mean that it will be up to the offender to prove that the police officer was not in self-defence.

How do you intend to achieve carbon neutrality by stopping wind and photovoltaic power, when in all the scenarios proposed by RTE, there is a share of renewable energies in addition to nuclear?

Wind power is not the right method, because it is an intermittent energy.

When there is no wind, we look for coal and gas, which are the worst energies for global warming.

It is necessary to develop nuclear power, which is the most economical energy in CO2, by extending the lifespan of power stations from 40 to 60 years and by building 14 new reactors.

I know that nuclear power will not be enough, we will have to develop other alternative energies such as biomass, geothermal energy and hydrogen.

What do you plan against student precariousness?

There are emergency measures to take.

I propose a system of restaurant tickets, to allow them to have decent meals.

I think that the scholarship system should also be modified by modifying the ceiling to allow the middle class to benefit from them and by removing them for students who drop out of school or repeat too many years.

I also want tuition fees to be much higher for foreign students.

Finally, we must settle the question of student overcrowding with numerus clausus in certain sectors.

Do you intend to introduce the uniform at school?

I rather suggest a return to the blouse, to put an end to the dictatorship of fashion, to bring about equality and uniformity among all children.

What are your three essential values and your role models in politics?

For values, courage, sincerity and patriotism.

My role models in politics are Napoleon, General de Gaulle and Marie-France Garaud whom I knew and loved very much.

What are you going to live on if you are not elected?

In ten years, I will leave the Elysée after my two mandates.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

By throwing myself into this battle, I did not ask myself the question of the aftermath.

I will continue a political career, but we will see in what form.
