On Europe Matin on Wednesday, the president of the National Rally and MEP Jordan Bardella, returned to the crisis in Ukraine and to Emmanuel Macron's action with regard to Vladimir Poutine.

If he considered that the decision of the Russian president is regrettable, he also deplored that the French head of state took himself "for the policeman of the world".

After eight years of war, Russian President Vladimir Putin, godfather of pro-Russian separatists, announced Monday evening in a televised address the deployment of his army in eastern Ukraine to "maintain peace".

After this decision, the 27 EU member states on Tuesday approved a "sanctions package" "unanimously" against Russia, which "will hurt it very badly".

Guest on Europe Matin on Wednesday, the acting president of the National Rally and MEP Jordan Bardella, returned to this crisis and to the position of Emmanuel Macron.

"He thought he was a policeman of the world, perhaps to prepare for his entry into the presidential campaign," he said.
